A few of us became infuriated at the outragous stereotypes of weak-willed wives seduced by television to grow fat and always yearn for more. We want to look at the wives’ place in our urban communities through an alternative lens and find where we belong on the political and socio-economic power scale.

Is it wrong for us to question whether we should have an equal seat in education, government and business? Should women always remain obsure members of our community, underappreciated by our prominent male leaders? On this web site, YOU are encouraged to speak out and become an active participant in exploring our roles personally and politically within our community.
